About Us

About us? We don't like to boast, but...

After Hurricane Katrina swept everything we own out to sea, a funny thing happened.

We had a vision, a vision of things to come – on wheels.

We saw portable, well-built, well-designed cottages and cabins. We saw them on the move. We saw them as being our future.

And we liked what we saw. And pronounced it good.

Prior to Katrina we specialized in restoring beautiful historic homes. In fact, we lived in, and had completed a seven-year restoration of, the oldest house on the entire Gulf Coast (c. 1787). The house is gone, but we are here.

And we have resurrected our home restoration and building skills to bring to you the cottages and cabins that have gained attention around the world.

We have been interviewed for radio and television, featured in numerous magazines and newspapers, and discussed on blogs everywhere.

Our vision has become a reality. We hope you will contact us soon.
